Fall is here! Unfortunately, most anime from the summer are soon to conclude, but that means it’s time to get ready for anime airing for the fall! As the temperature lowers before winter, it is the perfect time to watch these anime at home.
Chainsaw-Man- Season 1
Starting off with probably the most highly anticipated show of the season. Due to the positive for this manga series since its release in December 2018, it was only a matter of time before this insane horror-action series would make its anime debut. For those wondering about the plot of this new anime, the story follows Denji, a young man in massive debt who makes a deal with a devil. After being left for dead, Denji merges with his devil, giving him the ability to transform any part of his body into a chain saw, where he hunts demons along with other demon hunters. Inspired by the “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” slasher films, the upcoming month of October would be the perfect time to get into this new anime. With how much hype this show has, let’s hope that this adaptation lives up to it’s gory and action-packed source material.
Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-Kun- Season 3
Staying with the theme of demons, “Welcome to Demon School! Iruma Kun” will be getting its highly anticipated 3rd season. For those who haven’t read the fan translations (which I highly recommend due to the lack of official translations), this season will mainly follow the events of one of the longest arcs in the series: The Harvest Festival! Introducing many new characters, Iruma and his classmates must prepare for the following event to raise their rank to keep their classroom. Overall, this supernatural slice-of-life and action show is a good watch if you just want to relax and have fun.
SPY x FAMILY- Season/Part 2
For those wanting to watch more comedy this season, SPY x FAMILY is a must-watch in my opinion. After seeing many reviews I found it enjoyable. The idea of a comedy with a spy, assassin, and a telepathic child, none of which know the truth about the other, as a fake family in a Cold War-esque setting feels fresh and unique. Having seen this series with my family, I remember how much we were laughing at the many funny moments the show had to offer.
My Hero Academia- Season 6
That’s right folks! SEASON 6! It sure is crazy to think about how far this show has come, and the fanbase it has amassed! For you MHA fans, I’m sure you are all really excited for the upcoming story, and can’t wait for the continuation of the Paranormal Liberation War Arc. With all the craziness that is happening after the most recent arc, it’s hard to not be excited! Let’s just hope it lives up to our expectations!
